The role:  Airport Manager – Bermuda (BDA)

At British Airways, our airport teams are at the heart of delivering the safe, secure and punctual operation our customers depend on, while ensuring they receive an excellent experience throughout their journey.

As an Airport Manager at BDA, you’ll lead and support our Customer Service team and take overall accountability for the performance of the station. From delivering operational and customer service standards to maintaining safety and security compliance, managing budgets and building strong supplier relationships, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the successful day-to-day operation of British Airways in Bermuda.

You’ll work closely with airport authorities, government agencies, Ground Handling Agent teams, suppliers and colleagues across British Airways, bringing strong leadership, sound judgement and a collaborative approach to deliver consistently high standards.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead, coach and develop the team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Drive strong colleague engagement and operational performance.
  • Deliver station KPIs and customer service targets.
  • Ensure effective service recovery when required.
  • Maintain full safety, security and audit compliance.
  • Represent British Airways with airport authorities and customers.
  • Manage station budgets and maintain financial compliance.
  • Manage supplier performance against agreed SLAs.
  • Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the operation.
  • Act as the Local Emergency Coordinator.

Your experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, associate degree, or equivalent required
  • Airport, airline, or hospitality operational experience required
  • People Management and/or Supplier Management experience required
  • Experience of working cross functionally
  • Conflict management/crisis management
  • Working under pressure
  • Ability to work independently
  • Safety and security awareness
  • Proficient with MS Word / MS Excel / MS PowerPoint
  • Safety System
