When I arrived at British Airways, I wanted to make an impact. I have a real passion for sustainability, and during my three-month internship I was given the chance to assist with the creation of a new Environmental Standards Manual – a pocket guide to best practice and environmental standards for colleagues across the company. I had the chance to learn from some of the best minds in the business through Insight Days, one-to-ones, and networking opportunities. I loved being part of exciting projects and given real responsibilities. It was a great feeling to assist in the delivery of a world-class service to thousands of customers and help the airline take steps towards a sustainable future.
