The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading complex projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. The Senior Project Manager also provides leadership and mentorship to project team members and promotes best practices in project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of multiple complex projects or programs.

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.

  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies while implementing mitigation strategies.

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Facilitate project governance, including status reporting and steering committee updates.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including business, technology, and external vendors.

  • Ensure projects meet quality standards and comply with organizational policies.

  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.

  • Mentor and guide junior project managers and project team members.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 7–10+ years of experience in project management, including managing complex initiatives.

  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects successfully.

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).

  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.

  • Experience managing cross-functional or global teams.

  • Background in change management or program management.

  • Experience in digital transformation, technology implementation, or process improvement initiatives.
