The role:
This role will play a key part in ensuring BA delivers our vision in relation to our Inclusion & Diversity strategy. You will work collaboratively with colleague networks, line managers, colleagues, and partner organisations to implement tangible improvements in Inclusion & Diversity.
What you’ll do:
- Support the delivery of BA’s I&D strategy, to drive improved performance in representation and inclusion, including adding new suppliers to the system, PO’s & other related admin
- Implementation of I&D initiatives delivering projects linked to all aspects of inclusion and diversity,
- Tracks progress in representation targets and identifies areas of improvement in representation using data and insights to recommend changes to stakeholders
- Provide guidance and education to stakeholders on changes required to increase Inclusion
- Support Global learning Academy to ensure learning content across I&D is excellent
- Manages relationships with colleague network groups ensuring there is strong governance in place and their impact is measured
- Acts as a SME for Colleague Networks and steering group to seek feedback and learning, and provide support and guidance
- Owns delivery of mandatory reporting requirements including the production of all relevant information for the IAG annual report, liaising with Corporate & and internal stakeholders on content
- Own production of quarterly I&D updates for quarterly reporting purposes
- Support to embed governance for BA’s I&D strategy into the business
- To work with operating companies to advance I&D, benchmark insights and build consensus
- Work with Internal Communications and Brand teams on development of communication materials
- Leads on the execution and delivery of our Inclusion calendar providing guidance to Comms and Colleague Network groups to deliver activity that promotes awareness and belonging linked to our strategy
- Scope, leads, and delivers successful I&D stakeholder events
- Work with Communications and customer teams to ensure that communication and awareness of I&D internally and externally is excellent and there are long term communication and awareness plans in place
- Build and manage relationships with partner organisations and ensure they have a clear scope of work which is regularly reviewed to ensure we are optimising value
- Research and benchmark externally to share best practice and learning to inform action and drive change
- Support with internal and external presentations, briefing notes etc
- Internal stakeholder management to raise the profile of I&D to fulfil the role as facilitators and experts at the forefront of the I&D agenda to improve employee engagement

- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Ability to develop a strong internal and external network and capabilities across the team to deliver proactive PR and ensure best practice
- Team building skills to maximise team effectiveness
- Establish strong relationships at all levels in the organisation
Your experience:
- I&D experience & knowledge
- Experience of delivering results in I&D
- Experience of analysing and interpreting data
- Knowledge of relevant Equality legislation
- Experience of effectively collaborating across multiple teams
